How does an AviClear Treatment feel?

AviClear is equipped with exclusive AviCool™ skin cooling and sensory controls that help maintain your skin’s temperature during treatment for a more comfortable experience. During treatment, many feel a stinging sensation, which can be stronger over active acne areas. We have many comfort management options available, which we strongly suggest discussing. Talk to your practitioner. Comfort level varies by a patient’s own pain tolerance.

When can I see results?

87% of patients treated with AviClear saw at least half of their acne resolve at 6 months following treatment. And results may continue to improve with time — even several months after your treatment sessions are finished.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT?

After the AviClear treatment, you may experience mild redness and swelling from one hour up to two days. Acne flare-ups may occur as your skin purges, but are temporary and should resolve with time. We recommend applying SPF 30+ sunblock daily throughout your treatment series and after.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?

AviClear is approved for use on the face. Ask your medical provider to evaluate your other problematic areas to determine if they can also be treated.
