A 46-year-old male patient was diagnosed with a basal cell carcinoma (BCC) located just above his upper lip—an area where skin movement, contour, and aesthetics are especially important. Given the facial location and the patient's young age, Dr. Lance Henry, double board-certified dermatologist and micrographic surgeon, and the most experienced Fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon in the region, recommended Mohs micrographic surgery to ensure precise removal and optimal cosmetic results.
