CoolSculpting reduces stubborn fat in abs and flanks

This is a 41-year-old female patient came to our Fayetteville medical spa, wanting to reduce pockets of stubborn fat in her abdomen / tummy and flanks or love handles / muffin top. She was thrilled with her results with a significant reduction in fat in both areas. Her treatment plan, per her CoolSculpting specialist, was 6 sessions 2-3 days apart. The after pictures are after 3 months, allowing for the frozen fat to be eliminated naturally by her body.

The unique CoolSculpting fat-freezing technology is a nonsurgical way to reduce stubborn fat that may be resistant to diet and exercise alone. CoolSculpting uses cryolipolysis, which is just a technical way to say freeze the fat. When fat cells freeze, they die and are then naturally eliminated through the body’s natural process.

CoolSculpting is scientifically proven to get rid of treated fat for good. Up to a 20-25% reduction in the fat layer thickness! You will start to see changes as soon as 1-3 months post-treatment. Final results may take 6 months or more.

CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared to treat 9 trouble spots: visible bulges under the chin and jawline areas, inner and outer thighs, abdomen and flanks, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks and upper arms.

With little to no downtime, CoolSculpting is the safe way to reshape your body without surgery.

The science of freezing the fat is known by medical providers as Cryolipolysis — which literally translates into cold (cryo) fat (lipo) destruction (lysis). This fat freezing effect was discovered by two Harvard scientists who studied the effects of popsicles on the inside cheeks of children. Based on this research, CoolSculpting was born.
