Dr. Lance Henry, M.D.
Lance Henry, MD , is Northwest Arkansas’ leading expert in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He is a Board-certified general and cosmetic dermatologist and Mohs Fellowship-trained in skin cancer and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Henry is one of only two American College of Mohs Surgery Fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons in Northwest Arkansas. World-wide, there are only just over 1,500 Mohs Fellowship-trained surgeons. He is the most experienced skin cancer surgeon in Northwest Arkansas, having performed more than 15,000 Mohs procedures to date.
Dr. Henry is a Northeast Arkansas native. After graduating from Jonesboro High School, he attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he graduated with a BS in Microbiology. He received his medical degree and completed a residency in dermatology at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. Dr. Henry then completed a one-year combined Mohs College and ACGME fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology in Rochester, New York.
Dr. Henry has practiced in Northwest Arkansas since September 2007 and is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at UAMS. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Henry’s work has appeared in numerous publications, presentations and research findings regarding advances in the field of dermatology.
