• Fuller-looking earlobes

Earlobe repair is performed comfortably in our office using local anesthesia.
During the procedure, Dr. Henry carefully removes damaged tissue and reconstructs the earlobe using advanced surgical techniques designed to create a natural-looking result. Depending on the extent of the damage, simple closure or more advanced tissue rearrangement may be used.
Most procedures take less than one hour.
Earlobe rejuvenation uses hyaluronic acid filler to restore lost volume caused by aging.
Treatment typically takes less than 30 minutes with little to no downtime. Results are immediate and often last longer than filler in other areas of the face because the earlobes experience very little movement.
Most patients return to work the same day or the following day.
For optimal healing:
• Keep the area clean and dry.
• Avoid heavy earrings while healing.
• Follow all postoperative instructions.
• Wait approximately three months before re-piercing.
There is little to no downtime.
Patients can resume most normal activities immediately, although we recommend:
• Avoid touching the treated area for the first day.
• Sleep with your head slightly elevated the first night.
• Follow any post-treatment instructions provided by your injector.
Patients with torn or stretched earlobes usually benefit from surgical repair, while patients whose earlobes have simply become thinner with age often achieve excellent results with filler. During your consultation, Dr. Henry will recommend the most appropriate treatment.
Hyaluronic acid filler in the earlobes often lasts 18 months or longer because there is very little movement in this area.
Yes. Most patients can safely have their ears re-pierced approximately three months after surgery, once healing is complete. We recommend placing the new piercing at least 3 mm away from the previous site.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so patients are comfortable during treatment. Mild soreness afterward is usually well controlled with over-the-counter pain medication.
Most patients return to normal activities within a day. Complete healing takes several weeks, and scars continue to soften over time.
