WHAT IS BOTOX®?
Botox® is a neuromodulator that temporarily improves or eliminates the appearance of moderate and severe wrinkles in the following areas:
- Frown lines between your brows
- Wrinkles around your eyes (crow’s feet)
- Forehead lines
Botox works by relaxing the muscles that, when they contract, form the lines and wrinkles in your skin. We also offer Dysport and Jeuveau, which contain abobotulinumtoxinA, to relax the wrinkle-causing muscles around your eyes, brows, and forehead. Learn more at each of their pages.
WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?
Dermal fillers treat the effects of aging from a different angle by adding volume to areas where your skin is sagging or hollow.
As you age, your skin loses elasticity and tone. As a result, the thin layer of fat beneath the skin on your face begins to succumb to gravity and migrates downward. This leads to sunken cheeks and deep parentheses lines around either side of your mouth. Lips can also lose volume and develop vertical lines around the edges.
By injecting fillers into these areas, your Provider restores lost volume, which also smooths out the lines. You can even use dermal fillers in your hands to improve the signs of aging there. Your Provider can help you decide which dermal filler is right for you. We recommend both the Juvederm and Galderma Restylane families of fillers as well as Radiesse, which is a filler approved for the lower face and hands. WHICH INJECTABLE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Botox® and fillers work best in combination since they address different aspects of the aging process. Botox® is great for the upper face, reducing the moderate to severe lines around your eyes and forehead.
Dermal Fillers go to work on the lower half of your face, where volume loss is more of an issue when it comes to aging. Between the two, you can look years younger almost immediately. (It may take the Botox 7-10 days to fully relax your muscle.)
HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST WITH INJECTABLES?
Botox® and Dysport® usually lasts 3-4 months, while Dermal Fillers last 6-24 months. In both cases, at the first signs of redeveloping wrinkles or volume loss, you can simply come back to Revive Medical Spa, LLC for additional treatment.
WHAT IS SCULPTRA AESTHETIC?
Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen—the most common protein in the body that is used to form a framework to support cell and tissue—for results that can last more than two years.

WHAT IS KYBELLA?
KYBELLA® is administered as a series of injections to the treatment area under the chin, destroying fat cells and eliminating any appearance of a double chin. The number of treatment sessions will vary based on the amount of fat under the chin and your treatment goals.
HOW KYBELLA® WORKS
The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
