WHAT IS A COOLSCULPTING ELITE TREATMENT LIKE?
Once the applicator is placed, you’ll feel a gentle suction followed by a cooling sensation. Some clients report pulling, tingling, stinging, or aching in the first few minutes, but these sensations fade as the area becomes numb.
After treatment, common side effects may include redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, or numbness. Most clients return to normal activities right away.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS AFTER A TREATMENT?
Common side effects are mild and temporary, including:
- Redness, swelling, bruising, or numbness
- Tingling, tenderness, or cramping
- A sensation of fullness in the throat (after chin/jawline treatments)
Rarely, a condition called paradoxical hyperplasia can occur, where treated fat thickens instead of shrinking. This may require surgical correction. Your provider will discuss all risks with you in detail.
