This year we added the latest and best laser hair removal by adding two Lutronic Clarity II devices. As the most advanced device on the market, the Clarity II is also least painful laser hair removal treatment available.
On a discomfort scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most uncomfortable, most clients are rating the new Clarity II treatments a 2-3 and the previous treatments an 8.
If you’d like to remove shaving, waxing, and plucking from your skin care regimen, laser hair removal is the solution. This is not a one and done procedure. We typically recommend a series of 6 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart. To learn more, please call or schedule an appointment using the online booking tool.
Laser Hair Removal Q & A
How does laser hair removal work?
With the Clarity II, the best hair removal system, your aesthetician directs energy into your hair follicles, heating them up and destroying them. The system delivers precise pulses only to the targeted area without harming surrounding tissue.
The Clarity II laser has a cooling system for your comfort which applies a coolant directly and automatically to the skin after each laser pulse. The advanced cooling system significantly improves patient comfort level with the procedure. This is one of the reasons why the Clarity II is the best laser hair removal available.
Why is the Clarity II hair removal superior to other devices?
All hair removal lasers work by targeting the pigment within the follicles, which means the darker your hair, the easier it used to be to treat. However, Clarity II has two wavelengths and a proprietary technology that can result in quicker and more effective treatments for all skin tones. Giving this device another reason it is the best laser hair removal device available.
Where can I have hair removed?
Target unwanted body hair in the following areas:
- Bikini line
In fact, the laser technology is safe enough to use almost anywhere on your body, except around your eyes.
How do I need to prepare?
It’s important that your aesthetician is able to visualize your hair follicles, so refrain from waxing or plucking your hair for a few weeks before your first laser hair removal appointment. You can still shave, since that only cuts the shaft of your hair, leaving your follicles intact.
How many treatments do I need?
The answer to this depends on the size of the area where you’d like hair removed. During your initial consultation, your aesthetician reviews the areas you want to tackle and comes up with a timeline for hair removal. We typically recommend 6 treatments, which is why we created 6 treatment packages with added savings.
Keep in mind that your appointments are spaced six to eight weeks apart so your aesthetician can make sure to treat all of the hair follicles in your target area. Not all hair grows at the same time, with some follicles being dormant at any given time. By waiting six to eight weeks in between appointments, it allows time for all of your follicles to be active and treated with the laser.
How long do results last?
Results vary from one person to the next. Some people enjoy several years of hair-free skin, while others may minimally regrow hair. Whether it’s one year or five years down the road, all you will need is a touch-up.
