How is Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center, PLLC and Revive Medical Spa, LLC responding?

We are excited to announce the use of doxy.me (HIPAA compliant) to provide remote telehealth teledermatology care for our patients. Both providers and patients can connect using audio/video capabilities from a desktop computer with a camera, laptop, tablet/iPad, or mobile smartphone. We ask that you send in a photo of any areas you are concerned about prior to your appointment. We also recommend you keep up on your monthly skin self-exams. What is teledermatology or telehealth?

Teledermatology or telehealth is the use of technology in order to provide real-time dermatology healthcare services to patients remotely. With online virtual visits, we can deliver the expert skincare that you deserve in the comfort of your own home.

What insurance carriers are participating?

Medicare, Medicaid, and almost all private insurers. We can confirm your insurance coverage when your appointment is scheduled.

What will I need to have for a visit?

You will need a smartphone, tablet, or laptop/desktop computer with a camera and microphone. Use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari web browsers to complete your appointment with doxy.me. We ask that you send in a photo of any areas you are concerned about prior to your appointment.

Can all of my dermatology needs be handled via a teledermatology appointment?

We anticipate that most problems will be able to be addressed via teledermatology. However, in-office appointments will still be required for any procedures, such as biopsies to determine if a skin lesion is cancerous or not.

If your insurance does not cover teledermatology, we are offering a cash option of $59 for new patients and $49 for existing patients. Please be prepared to to offer a credit card when you schedule your appointment.
